• New DevBlog and Final Week for Paypal Perks

Hey! Long time, no article! Hope you all had exciting and relaxing holidays. It's mid January already, can you believe it? (Because we can't...) We just wanted to let you know (in case you're not super-hip with the "What's New" button up there) that the first Dev Blog is finally out. You can read Rob's thoughts on what he thinks Progression is and what it should be by following this link. (Or here is the Tumblr for you Social Media Geeks.)

We also wanted you to know that this will be the FINAL WEEK to get a "Kickstarter Perk" via Paypal. There will be no extensions, so if you still haven't gotten one, you better do so very soon! To those of you who have supported Unforgotten Quest Kickstarter, thanks so much. We'll be getting in touch with everyone soon (sometime after the Paypal cutoff) so keep a lookout for that. Remember, if you have any questions you can always e-mail uquest@wittywizard.com or post on the forums. Have a great weekend!

To recap, Paypal Perks will close January 25th and check out the new DevBlog.

Will PayPal perks go toward stretch goals?
edit: Maybe I should use the place for asking questions to ask my question instead of using the place for posting comments.

Sure, but the amount coming in from paypal isn't going to get us to even the 125 goal. I'm just keeping it open because of a few emails of people who missed the kickstarter and need more time.

Can we get the stretch goal prizes anyways?

I'd rather he focus on finishing the game first :) But maybe after it's done we can beg for it?

No, because we don't have the money to do so. Me making an episode of classic is a good 2 to 3 weeks of time. The same goes for designing a community class/race. It's a ton of ton I can't commit if I want to get the game out the door. Sometimes you guys don't realize that my time is spread pretty thin.

The kickstarter was successful, but only barely, I can't take a month or two off goofing around on some things you guys might enjoy at the risk of running out of production money and not being able to release the game on time.

Moving forward for you as a developer, may I invest in some of WittyWizard's stock? (presuming the game and your future games will go under that title) :P

Have you put any thought into my swords for maces idea?
and will i be able to achieve a silver tier perk by adding to my kickstarter $15 with paypal payments or just adding onto my kickstarter payment on the site??

He already answered that, on the thread where you asked.

i was asking if he had 'put any thought into it' because ultimately if it weren't to much trouble on his end then i would like to purchase the create a weapon reward to create the item for it.

If not an MMO than what is it?
is it some kind of 4 player multi-player sort of thing?

Will it have a single player campaign?

How close to the show is the game? will we meet people from the game?

BTW you've inspired me to take another crack at game design.
here's a sneak peek at the lead character.

Any risk of "team killing" like in the old beat-em-ups?

Like in the show where Shmoopy casts flare and Elumanus gets blinded by it.

It would be nice if there was an obvious link to Rob's Youtube channels from here... Just a thought.

They aren't ready for official release yet. Still getting them polished up.
